PROPERTIES

Frankincense reduces inflammation, heals age spots, increases blood circulation, and fights cancer. Its main constituents are monoterpenes which are great at enhancing all the other therapeutic properties of other compounds and ingredients. The monoterpenes give the oil soothing and sedating effects. They’re also antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.

Commonly known in Guatemala simply as ‘incienso’, frankincense has been used for centuries in many cultures including the Mayan, for burning to purify spaces or in religious ceremonies.
