3 Self Love Rituals You Can Do Right Now

Here are 3 simple ways you can create space for yourself today, tomorrow, and every day (because it's important).

 

 

SELF MASSAGE

Although it is nice to splurge sometimes, you don't need to spend a lot of money going to a massage therapist to reap similar benefits. Giving yourself a massage can be a great way to get in tune with your body and unwind.



Spend a lot of time looking at a computer? Chances are, you hold a lot of tension in your neck and shoulders. That is a great place to start with your self massage - dig in to the tense areas to feel around for muscle knots and rub in circular motions to loosen them up. Do this for a few minutes before moving on to a different spot. Be sure to drink lots of water as this helps your muscles rebuild.

These "love languages" are primarily used to highlight how we like to be loved by others and how we like to love others, but why can't we apply them to our own self love?


Try doing one thing for yourself that speaks to one of your dominant love languages. For example - if yours is gift giving, try buying yourself something you'll enjoy. For quality time - spend some time alone doing your favorite solo activities.
